Hello my fellow teammates.
Candy here.
This is the first time im posting on Blazers blog.
I was talking to Larry online and I suddenly felt as though im a loser.
Ok,
I know im not anyone great in the team,
or anyone worth listening to.
Not sure how many of you will read this.
But nevertheless,
But I would just like to share all these with you guys.
It has been 6 mths since the juniors joined the team.
I dont know how do you guys feel.
But personally,
I feel that this team is not a team at all.
How much have we done and learnt TOGETHER?
Is Blazers even a team?
I guess most of us took Blazers for granted.
I admit im one of them.
Sometimes,
i dont feel like going for trainings too.
But i didnt spare a thought for the rest when i decided to not go for training.
We all play a part in the team.
As a flyer,
if i skip training,
my bases cant do anything.
As a base,
if i want to learn more but my flyer is unwilling,
i cant go far.
Yes,
its true that we can still improve this way.
But its not to the maximum.
Its not all that we can do.
I believe we can all do much more and better than what we are doing now.
True enough,
everyone wants to enjoy training.
I want to enjoy trainings too.
But not those kind of hee hee ha ha training which we dont know what we are doing.
Nationals is near.
Are we doing our best?
I think we're all lost.
We lost our ultimate aim.
I believe we're still here because of the passion to cheer.
Why claim tt you love cheering when there's only so much you give up for cheer?
Nowadays when i go for trgs,
the ppl i see are like getting lesser and lesser.
And its always the same old ppl.
Even the passer by tagged on our blog to ask why isit the same old ppl performing and what happened to the others?
Larry and Ken has given up on us.
I dont wish to see the other seniors giving up on us too.
And the reason im posting this,
is to hope to "wake" Blazers up,
and set all of us thinking.
Im not sure if you all realised.
Larry used to be the "highlight" in the team.
But do you hear him speak often during trgs now?
The reason why he's still here is because of Suhui and Mrs Keong.
I guess we all disappointed him too much.
When he taught us new things,
how many of us bothered to say a "thank you"?
How many of us bothered to ask for comments?
How many of us took his comments seriously?
I dont know.
He's disappointed till the extent that he dont even want to tell us when we do smth wrong.
He told me to name him smth that is worth him staying in Blazers.
I told him honestly that there's nth except for those two ppl he mentioned.
Im hoping after you guys read this,
we can all change his mind.
Or rather,
our seniors' perspective of us.
Not all of us are blessed with fortune of being a fast learner.
Then why are we not training more to catch up with the rest?
Yes,
i know we all have other obligations to meet.
But are we giving our all during each and every single training?
My parents hate to see me in cheer.
They never fail to nag at me everyday,
asking me to quit.
They think all my teammates are bad influence.
And that they are the cause of me turning into another person,
going home so late all the time and not spending enough time with them.
I stopped going for supper with the team for quite some time cus I need to be back home straight after training.
But little do they know that cheering makes me really happy.
Do you all feel the same way?
Does cheering make you happy?
Do you want to cheer more?
Or you just cant wait for every training to end all the time?
Larry told me that he very much want to help shape up this team.
He tried lots of methods to make this work but to no avail.
Actually,
the root of the problem lies with us.
We're not doing anything to improve the situation.
In fact,
how many of us actually cared about the team?
There's only so much i can do as an individual.
So i hope you guys can spare 5 mins of your 24 hrs to reflect on what you've done so far,
and what you plan to do next.
I really hope that we can make Blazers a real team.
Its up to you to decide whether all these is bullcrap or smth worth listening.
I did my best,
and sincerely wish that all of us can give this issue some thought.
Oh, and lastly,
DONT BE AFRAID TO ASK THE SENIORS TO TEACH!
As long as we have the eagerness and willingness to learn,
we can all do this tgt!
I heard the routine for nationals is stunning!
So lets all work hard and stun all the rest!
Show them what Blazers can do!
LETS GO BLAZERS!
