let's see. how many times has the point of RESPECT been brought up to the team.

i am somehow resigned to knowing that no matter how many times we said it, only a handful listens. it's a handful because i know that some of you really pay attention and listen to us. but i can't say that for the whole team.

how many times have terence posted it in the blog. maybe you can tell me you don't read the blog.

how many times have kelwin said during training. if you tell me that you don't come to training then don't bother reading this.

respect your seniors and the coach.. when we tell you something, you laugh. you talk back. you still can joke. what kind of attitude do you give when we reprimand you. there's a time for everything. can you be serious during training.

safety. more people are falling and we are only doing basic stunts. everyone in a stunt group has an important role to play INCLUDING the backspot. i don't want to see you backspotting the stunt just for the fun of it.

unlike other sports, cheerleading is dangerous. you take things lightly. someone falls and get injured. who takes the blame? and wait. can taking the blame remove the physical and metal injury that the person has suffered?

i don't expect to really see any difference after this post. you can attempt to prove me wrong. but i won't count on that.

-
moving on, we have seen an improvement regarding the stunts.

we SHOULD have already excelled in shoulder sit dismount (front and back), shoulder stand dismount (bear hug) and table-top.

we have successfully done our first group stunt; the long beach.

we have done elevator, elevator extension, and some still learning extension pop.

the faster ones have reached double-base cupie and liberty.

lastly and again, like bryan said, safety first. as we progress to doing the more difficult stunts, the height increases. everyone must know their role in the stunt. we cannot ensure 100% safety, but we can prevent things from happening.

so let's catch up, train, improve and progress together!
